When will we?

When will we see that things are not as they used to be?
When will we understand that we reap what we sow?
When will we open our souls to one another-
For loving one another as sisters and brothers?
Tomorrow is within our reach
But we must be willing to learn and also teach
When will we as people just do better and say
Life is for real and not just a dramatic play?
